“C” you through the First week Of School

20160824_142100The kids wanted to give there teachers something on the first day back to school so of course off to pinterest I went and found a cute “c” you though the first week of school! Simple and easy for the kids to help! We made a quick run to the dollar store for chocolates plus they found cute gift card boxes that came in a pack of 2, stopped though the Jimmy Johns Drive through for a gift card and raided the piggy banks for a few quarters! Than at home I used my Silhouette to create a file with a tag and of course used print than cut to make quick work!20160824_142214 You could always just hand write too! The kids are super excited and it really took just 10mins to pull it together once we had the supplies!

Happy Crafting!

On a Cold winters day a Cup of Hot Chocolate is a great way to warm up and create Smiles! I just wanted to share a really easy appreciation I created for the teachers at my son’s school a few weeks ago!

This project took very little time to pull together, and for supplies all you need to gather is a 8×10 frame or purchase one from the Dollar Store, I then used SnowHaven paper for inside the frame. I used silhouette studio to create the phrase to be cut in white vinyl and then placed on the glass.

Then I created the table card labels with the Snowhaven paper by cutting, scoring and folding. To add the items name I used White Cardstock with the print then cut feature in Silhouette studio. I typed the items and then selected the frame for around the words then printed them with registration marks and cut them with the Cameo.

Then for the Hot Chocolate Bar I purchased red hots, caramel bits, peppermint sticks, marshmallows, snowman peeps, Hot Cocoa mix, White Chocolate Cappuccino Mix, Hot chocolate cups with lids, and I dipped spoons in chocolate.

With a few bowls and Big coffee Mugs it was Hot Cocoa Time! :)
